Syabil's First Term of School

The first term of school ended yesterday, and today the two-week school holiday started. This is something for Syabil to remember in the future his first experience of school.
The Timetable
This is my own creation, tried to be creative but I admit that I am not that creative...I stopped before I really finished it because I am short of ideas...just hoping that Syabil could identify the subjects by different colors...

Holiday in East Coast Part2 (Kuantan)

The next day we headed south to Kuantan. Since we stayed in executive room in the hotel in KT, we had the privilege of checking out late (until 3pm). We left KT at almost 3...arrived at Kuantan at about 6...We stayed at Grand Continental Kuantan.

We were really hungry that night...we only had keropok losong we bought at Kampung Losong for lunch that day because we were not really hungry then....Ayah wanted to eat seafood at a place called Tanjung Lumpur...
At Tanjung Lumpur we had sotong bakar, siakap steam, lala masak sambal, asparagus goreng & tomyam campur...not bad...
Breakfast...Syabil with his new Ben 10 watch...
We stopped by Teluk Cempedak before we head back to KL on Sunday 19th of May...After we arrived home that evening, I remembered that I left the 'keropok losong' we bought in the fridge back at the Kuantan hotel...

Holiday in East Coast Part1 (Kuala Terengganu)

We started our journey to the east on Saturday morning 17th May...a brief stop at Genting Sempah...ayah nak ke toilet...
We stayed at Grand Continental Kuala Terengganu...
We arrived at KT quite late....we checked in, took our bath and went for dinner. We had our dinner at the hotel's Jala Emas Restaurant....

Langkawi Vacation 2008 (12 Jan 2008 ~ 15 Jan 2008)

Awana Porto Malai...This is the 3rd time (3rd year in a row) we went for a vacation to Langkawi and the 2nd time we stayed at Awana Porto Malai. The 1st time we stayed at Berjaya, but since the chalets tu kat tengah hutan, nak keluar ke lobby kena panggil tram, bilik kat beach ada tp mahal la plak.

Syabil's 1st Day at CEC Kindergarten

First day, banyak ragam anak2 di kindergarten, especially Syabil...the loudest one...geramnyeee...Syabil is in Class Pre-2 Camelia, the teacher is Puan Noor, a middle-aged woman...nampak garang sikit, maybe that was why he cried so loud. Second day, the same...On the third day...fuhh lega, no more tantrums...we left him at the school gate with his teacher, he waved at us...alamak sayu la plak...

Hari Raya Haji 2007

Our family went to Ayer Hitam (about 1.5 hours drive from Muar) to look for wedding preparation items for Nain, my younger brother (the youngest, actually). Sibuk shopping sampai lupa nak ambik gambar suasana kat Ayer Hitam tu but it is always a crowded town with lots of shops and stalls selling various goods, mostly flower vases and 'kerepek' la.
Anyway, kat bawah ni antara gambar barang2 yg kitaorg beli yg diambil setelah sampai rumah. Rambang gak mata tengok beraneka barang especially door gifts yg cantik2 dan boleh ditawar harganya mengikut quantity barang yg dibeli.
 
Then, the next day we went to Tangkak to buy curtains (about 15 minutes from my mum's house). Tangkak is famous with its 'kain & langsir'. Suasana di bandar Tangkak....

Syabil's 4th Birtday
|
|
Hari jadi Syabil ialah pada 18 November.We decided to bring him to watch Mickey Mouse Live Magic Show at Bukit Jalil on 9th Nov. as part of pre-birthday celebration...not his birth date yet but the show was from 7th ~ 11th Nov. only. Tak boleh bawak camera or guna hp camera tp my husband managed to snap below pic during intermission...kitaorg beli free-seat tickets je, so jauh la from stage.
On that very day (18 Nov.), kitaorg celebrate kt kg (Muor). Luckily kat Muor dah ada Secret Recipe, so I ordered Choc Fudge Cake with Batman character on it few days earlier by phone (kalau ikut birthday boy nak character Ultraman tp takde dlm catalogue, maybe next time boleh bwk gambar Ultraman sendiri soh dia buatkan). Birthday Nana plak is on 26 Nov...so dah alang2 buat sekali for Nana.
Mak & akak tolong buatkan mi bandung, mak order karipap & goreng nugget, akak buat agar2...air plak sirap bandung...gambar plak tak ambik, lupa sbb sibuk nk guard makanan especially the cake from Amin (my nephew, Nana's brother).
Thanks to Atok Yan & Nenek Nab, Bibik Mukiyah, Wati & her 5 kids, Bibik Sah, Anne & her boy and Lily for coming & memeriahkan Syabil's birthday party.
Thanks to mak & akak for preparing the food.

24 Nov. 2007 our family went to Fraser's Hill. Saja bawak my mum and Nana (my niece) jalan since cuti sekolah ni. It took about 2 and 1/2 hours from Subang Jaya. This is the first time kitaorang pegi Fraser's Hill. Sampai sana dlm pukul 5 lebih, sejuk gak, terus check in kat Fraser's Silverpark Resort. Since resort tu takde sediakan dinner, kitaorang pegi la cari makan kat Fraser's Hill town.
Waktu malam sejuk sangat, siap pakai jacket lagi dlm bilik, nasib baik lantai carpeted, kalau tak...tak sanggup nak pijak lantai. Sebab sejuk sangat, semua orang tido awal except for me, sempat lagi tgk cerekerama sampai 12 midnight...
